Guess Bear's Name
Idea:
The object is to guess the name of the bear (or other cuddly toy). The person to correctly guess the name, or come closest to the name wins the bear. Not a great money earner but popular with small children and their grandparents, a useful way of raising money using toys donated by department stores or toy shops.
Cost and Prizes:
20p a guess
Equipment Needed and Setting Up Instruction:
Bear or other cuddly toy.
List of names.
Before the fete pick a name for the bear, write it down and seal it in an envelope.
Display the prize and write the name and phone number/address of each person who makes a guess against the name on the list. If nobody picks the correct name award the prize to the person nearest the correct name.
